IMMORTALS 145 AT Birds of Prey 13

GAME STORY: The question coming into this game was could the Birds of Prey (1-11) slow down the relentless offence of the Immortals (10-2)? The answer was a resounding no. The Immortals scored 100 points for the fifth consecutive week with WR TERRELL OWENS catching eight touchdown passes to go with his team leading 337 receiving yards. WR JERRY RICE led the team with 20 receptions and had 162 YAC yards. Birds of Prey QB JOHNNY UNITAS wasn’t on the field that much and that explains the 102 passing yards and 114 total yards of offence.

FURY 103 at GOATS 37

GAME STORY: A huge matchup of quality teams turned out to be meh. Fury (12-0) became the first AFLL team to go over the 1000 point mark this season with a 60-point second quarter to bury the GOATS (9-3). QB PEYTON MANNING (978-9-1) outduelled fellow MVP candidate QB OTTO GRAHAM (598-3-5) and that should push the Fury QB into the outright lead on all the MVP ballots. GOATS TE JASON WITTEN had 21 receptions for 307 yards and a couple of touchdowns. DB JACK CHRISTENSEN was a busy man with 23 tackles for the GOATS

GAME BALLS: (O) – Manning only found four different receivers because WR RANDY MOSS was open all night long with 38 receptions, 762 yards and eight touchdowns. RIDICULOUS.
