Updated: Apr 7, 2022

ELITE 3 at GOATS 115

GAME STORY: The GOATS (6-2) made sure that their two-game losing streak came to an end real fast jumping out to a 24-0 first quarter lead and cruising to 112-point victory. The GOATS said, “to hell with the running game” and just leaned on their passing game, TE JOHN MACKEY (9-390-3), WR STEVE LARGENT (9-298-6), TE JASON WITTEN (17-201-5) and TE OZZIE NEWSOME (12-177) all went well over 100 yards receiving. ELITE (2-6) had no answer for the GOATS pass rush and that meant that QB JOHNNY UNITAS just could not establish their passing game, Unitas finished with 238 yards and one interception. RB ERIC DICKERSON went from having the top rushing performance in Week 7, to have 17 carries for -1 yards this weekend. Hats off to RB EDDIE GEORGE who caught 13 passes for 134 yards.
