UFF Sports Bringing The Punch Boxing to Blockchain

Ultimate Franchise Fantasy Sports is stepping into the ring with The Punch Boxing — bringing India’s biggest boxing promotion to the Zilliqa blockchain. “We are working on bringing all aspects of the blockchain to the boxing world, including a native Punch boxing fungible token, boxing collectible NFTs, player NFTs, fantasy boxing, DeFi and predictive staking,” said Tony Charanduk, UFFS president and co-founder. “The Punch Boxing is the first boxing league in the world to embrace blockchain technology. All of this will be built within the UFFS platform.” “I could not be more thrilled to welcome The Punch Boxing. For the first time UFFS is not only expanding out of North America but is partnering with the biggest boxing league in India,” added Cole Bablitz, UFFS co-founder and Head of Combat Sports. “It will also be the first time in history a league has ever been tokenized — the exposure for both UFFS and India’s Punch Boxing will be vast.”

The Punch Boxing, owned by Sports Oodles Pvt Ltd., is a sanctioned professional boxing series — started with the sole motive to promote boxing and boxers in India. Through the vision of founder and president Arif Khan, The Punch Boxing has successfully hosted events in Delhi, Dehradun, Goa, Mumbai, Greater Noida, and many more places to come. Punch Boxing cards typically showcase eight bouts and 16 boxers, with their results and records available on Boxrec.com.

Arif Khan is an Indian businessman and managing director of Sports Oodles Pvt. Ltd. His company also holds exclusive marketing and broadcasting rights of All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board yearly Cricket League. Khan is involved in various sports leagues across India. With his experience in media and marketing, he has onboarded some of the world’s biggest brands to sponsor, support and develop sports in India — including Pepsi, PVR Cinemas, Isuzu Motors, UM Motors, Kingfisher beer, Monster Energy, Tito’s Goa nightclub and Bhutani Infra real estate. As a fast-rising promotion, The Punch Boxing has also received endorsements from combat sports celebrities such as Kurt Angle, Randy Couture and Hector (Macho) Camacho Jr.
