SO, YOU'RE GETTING PAID IN SCORE (SCO)
WELCOME!
If you are new to cryptocurrency, the idea of getting paid in SCO (the native token for UFF Sports) might seem a little overwhelming. This guide teaches you how to receive SCO, and how to turn it into cash (USD or CAD) should you choose to do so. There are a few different options to do this, and some depend on whether you have US or Canadian bank accounts.
The two options outlined are as follows:
- Crypto.com Visa Card - This card works as a prepaid Visa which you can load with crypto and spend it anywhere Visa cards are accepted.
- Converting SCO to fiat currency and having it deposited into your bank account.
For either option, you will need to set up a ZilPay wallet, which is where you will receive your SCO.

SETTING UP A ZILPAY WALLET
We Are Here To Help!
Setting up a ZilPay wallet can be done on a computer using the Google Chrome or Firefox browser. It will not work with Safari.
There is also a ZilPay app you can download which functions the same.
To use your computer, follow these steps:
Go to zilpay.io. Here you can download the ZilPay extension.
Click the blue “Add to Chrome” button close to the top right of the screen, and allow the next screens to get it added to your browser. It’s handy to pin that extension, so it’s always showing on your browser.
Click “Create New Account” and proceed with the required information.
*****IMPORTANT*****
Make sure to use a very secure password, and write it down. If you forget your password, you cannot recover it.
Write down (with pen and paper) or print the 12 word secret phrase you are given. This is the only way to get back into your wallet if you ever need a new device.
If you lose this, no one can get it back for you, and any funds in the wallet are inaccessible.
Also, make sure to keep it in a very, very safe place, because anyone who gets this key can access your wallet.
You don’t need to use your 12 words to access your wallet every time, only if you get a new device or completely log out.
ADDING SCO AS A SUPPORTED TOKEN
The next step is to add SCO to the wallet as a supported token.
Using the extension, click the button at the bottom middle of your ZilPay that looks like a poker chip. This will bring up the screen with all the supported tokens, and there is a + on the right side of the screen. Click this, and copy and paste the following Contract Address in where it asks for it:
zil1kwfu3x9n6fsuxc4ynp72uk5rxge25enw7zsf9z
Using the app, just click the + on the main page, and you can add the token using the above address.

CONVERTING SCO INTO USD
In most states, this only requires a few steps, but in others, it is a longer process.
In both cases:
Open zilswap.io on your browser (in the app, click Browser, then go to zilswap.io). Connect your ZilPay wallet to it when prompted.
Click on Swap, then select SCO in the first box and ZIL in the second box (exchanging SCO for ZIL). Input the amount you would like to swap (or use the percentages there). Click unlock, confirm the ZilPay wallet, and when the Swap button becomes available, click it.
The transaction now happens automatically and the SCO will be taken out of your ZilPay wallet and the ZIL will appear. It’s basically purchasing ZIL with SCO.
It is prudent to do this in smaller amounts, as large amounts will change the price and you will end up not getting as good of an exchange rate. It tells you how much your swap will affect the price, and if it is more than 0.5-1%, you may want to do less at a time.
For most states:
Set up an account at Crypto.com including your bank information.
Send your ZIL to your Crypto.com account, sell your ZIL for USD right in the app, and cash out directly to your bank.
Alternatively, you can apply for the free Crypto.com Visa card and load that with ZIL to spend anywhere Visa is accepted. You can add and hold other crypto currencies there as well.
For other states:
Set up an account with Atomic Wallet (similar process to ZilPay, but it’s just an app not an extension) and another with Coinbase, including bank info (Coinbase).
Send ZIL to your Atomic Wallet.
Use the Exchange feature to exchange ZIL for BTC or USDT.
Send BTC/USDT to your Coinbase account, and cashout from there to your bank for USD.

CONVERTING SCO INTO CDN
Open zilswap.io on your browser (in the app, click Browser, then go to zilswap.io). Connect your ZilPay wallet to it when prompted.
Click on Swap, then select SCO in the first box and ZIL in the second box (exchanging SCO for ZIL). Input the amount you would like to swap (or use the percentages there). Be aware that doing smaller amounts is more economical than doing large amounts. Click unlock, confirm the ZilPay wallet, and when the Swap button becomes available, click there.
The transaction now happens automatically and the SCO will be taken out of your ZilPay wallet and you will see the ZIL you purchased.
For amounts up to $3,000 CAD per day:
Set up an account at Crypto.com including your bank information.
Send your ZIL to your Crypto.com account, sell your ZIL for CAD right in the app, and cashout via e-transfer. The limit on this is $,3000/day.
Alternatively, you can apply for the free Crypto.com Visa card and load that with ZIL to spend anywhere Visa is accepted.
For amounts significantly higher than $3000 CAD per day:
Set up an account with Atomic Wallet (similar process to ZilPay, but it’s just an app not an extension) and another with bullbitcoin.com, including bank info (Bullbitcoin).
Send your ZIL to your Atomic Wallet.
Use the Exchange feature to exchange ZIL for BTC.
In BullBitcoin, go to “Sell Bitcoin.”
Your bank information should be there already, so you can confirm it and then click “Create Sell Order” at the bottom of the page. This will provide you with a Bitcoin address where you can send your Bitcoin from Atomic and it will show up in your bank account, but it can take a couple of days.
***Points to Consider***
-
Any time you transact in ZIL or SCO, there will be “gas” fees associated with the transaction. Always make sure to leave some ZIL in your wallets (usually about 20 ZIL is enough).
-
Always make sure to double check addresses you are sending to. If you send crypto to the wrong address, there is no way to get it back.
